Based on the superheroes of Marvel Comics, this is a story of Peter Parker, a nerdy high school. He was orphaned as a child, bullied by athletes, and can not confess his crush for his stunning neighborhood girl Mary Jane Watson. To say that his life is “miserable” is an understatement. But one day while on an excursion to a laboratory a runaway radioactive spider bites him … and his life changes in a way that nobody could have imagined. Peter acquires a muscular physique, clear vision, ability to adhere to surfaces and crawl on the walls, the wrist shot … networks but the fun will not last. An eccentric millionaire Norman Osborn administers a performance enhancing drug on himself and his maniacal alter ego Green Goblin comes. Now Peter Parker has to become Spider-Man and take Green Goblin to the task … or Goblin will kill him. They come face to face and start the war in which only one will survive to the end.
During a school trip, Peter Parker (Maguire) is bitten by a genetically altered spider. He wakes up the next morning with incredible powers. After witnessing the death of his uncle (Robertson), Parker decides to put their new skills to use to rid the city of evil, but someone has other plans.
